Middle school math help: Scale / scale factor?
The cousin of my neighbor has a problem teacher counting problems that are false in fact correct in their duties. I went over and checked some of the work myself, and there a little, I would like have a double check to make sure I did well, too. If you could, please show the work the way you response. Thank you for the help. 1.) An architect is drawing up schemes for a house. The dining room on the plane is 2 ½ inches by 4 inches. The scale for the drawing is ½ inch = 4 feet. What will be the dining room are real? 2.) Chad wants to increase the size of his storage shed. Dimensions are 6 feet by 10 feet. If using a scale factor of 3 to increase the size of the hangar, which will be the area of his new shed? 3.) Sandy buys clothes at Discount Central. On Tuesday, she bought jeans at regular price of $ 40 for 25% discount. Write an equation that can be used to find the price of jeans after the reduction. Thank you in advance! May God bless you!
