When I'm at a clothing store how can I tell what clothes should be ironed out and those who will not?
I hate ironing So I do not accidentally buy shirts or pants that need to be ironed. How do I know what clothes should be resolved and those who will not? Thank you very much.
On the care label inside the garment (will be at the neckline, or at the side seam near the hem), there will be a beacon of care. These are symbols or written instructions on how to deal the issue. If the symbol is an iron with an X through it, it means do not iron. A good guide to the symbols of other clothing care can be Found in http://www.textileaffairs.com/lguide.htm Otherwise, simply read the label. Also, consider your clothes from the dryer when they are not finished to give them time to get wrinkles. Or, you can lightly spray a mixture of fabric softener and water on the issue, and gently tug and smooth the wrinkles (and hang or fold flat after). I hope this helps!
