Halter tops surely help make women feel comfortable especially during spring and summer, but they are not ideal to be worn by plus size women. Doing so would only accentuate fat bellies and sides, making the obese woman look more as an object of ridicule.

Overall, plus size women of today are very fortunate. That is because they have greater choices of what to wear and more knowledge about those outfits they can live without.

What clothing is absolutely not for my shape?

I am what is called a pear "long, pear-shaped, but tall and thin. What kind of clothes should I wear really not for my shape? In fact, I need to contradict. Skinny jeans (for me) tend to draw attention to my (very) thin ankles, and away from my hips. I have a sort of weird body shape haha

Women who are told pear-shaped are closer to the lower half of their body, then the top half. This may mean finding unflattering clothes difficult. Stay away tightly fitting clothing on your lower half like skinny jeans, pencil skirts and tight dresses.
